Delft Hyperloop, a student team from TU Delft, is pushing the boundaries of transportation by developing a fully operational hyperloop pod. Consisting of 40 technical students, the team is dedicated to designing, building, and testing an innovative pod that will compete in the prestigious European Hyperloop Week. The ultimate goal this year? To execute the world's first fully levitating hyperloop lane-switch. Central to achieving this milestone is the integration of Althen's IMU8.x.y inertial measurement unit (IMU), a sensor crucial to the precise control of the hyperloop pod during the lane-switch maneuver.
